  1. MODIFY HOST CONFIGURATION

  3. The Modify Host Configuration window allows you to modify network
  4. parameters such as the I.P. address, netmask, and broadcast address for
  5. a particular host. Be cautious if you're modifying the only host
  6. configured for your network. If you then reset your I.P. address, you
  7. might not be able to immediately access Enlighten.

  9. This window contains the following fields:

  11. Hostname field
  12.  
  13. This view-only field shows the host whose configuration is currently
  14. being modified.
  15.  
  16. Interface field
  17.  
  18. This view-only field shows the network interface name.
  19.  
  20. I.P. Address field
  21.  
  22. You can use this field to change the current hosts IP address.
  23.  
  24. Netmask field
  25.  
  26. You can use this field to specify a new netmask. This is used to
  27. implement IP standard subnetting.

  29. Broadcast Address field
  30.  
  31. You can use this field to modify the host's broadcast address.
